Sensei Paul Reeves and Sensie Graham Anderson started the Elizabeth Special Needs Judo club in 2007.
As a Judo club we focus on ability rather than disability. Our motto is Determination, Courage & Spirit.
In collaboration with JudoSA, we staged the inaugral Adelaide Special Needs Judo Friends Games in 2009.
As a Special Needs Judo club we focus on ability rather than disability. The benefits of such as diversed group of people with both a physical or intellectual disability does not mean the cant gain learn, exercise and interact or play judo. The types of member disabilities includes, but is not limited to, visual impairment, aspergers, cerebral palsy, muscular weakness and palsies, autism spectrum disorder, ADD, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, learning and cognition disorders.
